Well wishings for my students!

To all my students taking PSLE,

Good luck for all your papers.
  • For maths, please sleep early on the night before the paper so that you can focus while doing the paper and avoid making any careless mistakes.
  • Remember to bring all your stationaries - pens, calculators, geometrical set etc. Bring an extra of everything too in case your pen runs out of ink or your calculator runs out of battery. Prepare for all contingencies.
  • Lastly, and most importantly of all, do not be nervous. Stay calm and confident and manage your time well in the exam, then all should be fine :)

Home tuition is the surest of ways of improving grades in Singapore and I don't think I need to emphasize on the importance of grades in Singapore. One typical classroom size in a school here is about 40 pupils. 
 
Forty is too many 
 
With this number, there is no way the teacher can get the full attention of all the students at all. You don't believe me? Just try to talk to 40 people at one go. Your children probably spend more time talking among themselves than listening to the teachers anyway...
